For The Body Remembers, Quentin Sledge and Angela Burdon created a series of video interviews and collected personal stories, introspections, and conversations within the Black community of Dayton, Ohio. What unfolded was a beautiful and thought-provoking conversation about resilience, memory, trauma, and healing.

The event will feature a screening of video interviews followed by a dance performance choreographed by Sledge as we set out to honor the narratives that shape our collective understanding of Blackness.
